Key Pro convention at ALOA 2008 - Dallas, TX |
|
There will be an informal convention held in Dallas, TX during the ALOA 2008 Convention. This will allow Key Pro members from all over the world to meet and visit with old friends, new friends, and have a good time.
I am opening the floor at this time for suggestions with regard to time & date and venue. We need a volunteer from the Dallas area to assist in securing a venue. I would like to handle this on the forum so that everyone who wants to have input can do so.
In order to do this properly, we need a head count. I am giving plenty of notice for this event. We need a tally of attendees and regrets. Please reply to pleys@hotmail.com. |

BMW Programmer's for sale.
$2495
These programmers are exclusively distributed by Carolina Transponders in the US.
This unit is also distributed by Peter Southern in the UK and by Dean Campbell Down Under.
It has been used all over the world for almost a year and tested extensivley in the United States for 6 months.
It will program BMW's using the EWS 3 and 3+. It will do Mini's and Land Rover also.
Range Rover HSE 2002-005
Cooper Mini & Mini S 2002-2003
BMW 3 Series (Body E36 & E46) 1999-2004
BMW Z4 1999-2004
BMW 5 Series (Body E38) 1999-2002
BMW 7 Series (Body E38) 1999-2001
BMW X5 (Body E59) 1999-2004
It comes complete with ten non-remote keys, easy to follow instruction manual and a phone number for true Texan Tech Support by none other than Stacy Hetchler.
New Remote keys can be found on Ebay now much cheaoer than we would be able to supply them for.
We will carry chips on hand for reorders or you can find your own.
The way this unit works is when you get the info out of the EWS unit, you pick which slot, 0-9, that you want to program a key to. Usually you would pick a low number so you wouldn't affect ones that still may be available from BMW. They will not provide keys for slots already used.
Then you program a key to correspond with the slot using the programmer and your ready to drive.
Everything you need comes with the kit except for your laptop and your willingness to stay at the top of your game.
There are a couple good reasons why this is a timely investment.
1, these cars are getting older and already on their 3rd or 4th owner. BMW can only supply a maximum of 10 keys over the lifetime of the car and there are 3-4 that come with the car originaly including the wallet key. At that point the option that BMW gives the customer is to change the locks and the EWS to a tune of about $3500.
2, there are plenty of these cars in salvage yards that people are starting to rebuild. Once a car has a salvage title, BMW will no longer supply keys for the car and up to this point these cars are having to be sold for parts only.
It's a big step but those who take it and market it are the one's who will be in the money.
There are also those well-to-do folks who are out of town, lost their key and have to get back home today and money is no object when it comes to their convenience.
Contact carolinatrans @ bellsouth.net for purchase info.
The Unit will be shipped to you by USPS Priority Mail, for ease of tracking, at no extra cost. |
